Matthew Almeida Employment History

Matthew Almeida has experience working with three firms in the financial industry. He began his career with Citigroup Global Markets Inc. in June 2016 and was registered there until July 2022. Subsequently, he was registered with Citi Private Advisory, LLC  from March 2017 to July 2022. His most recent registration was with J.P. Morgan Securities LLC from August 2022 until August 2024. During his career, he passed two general industry/product exams, including the Securities Industry Essentials Examination (SIE) in October 2018 and the General Securities Representative Examination (Series 7) in June 2016, as well as one multi-state securities law exam (Uniform Combined State Law Examination, Series 66) in September 2016. He has not passed any principal or supervisory exams.

Almeida’s registrations are no longer active, and he is not currently registered with any firm. He has held positions primarily in Boston, Massachusetts, and has disclosed one termination event related to emailing proprietary firm information without authorization while employed at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., in August 2024. This termination was not related to any known customer complaints or the sale of securities.
