Austin Dutton, Jr. (CRD #2739167) who was formerly registered with American Trust Investment Services, Inc. and located in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, is a subject of one of our many securities industry sales practice abuse investigations. Prior to American Trust Investment Services, Inc., Austin Dutton, Jr. was associated with Primex and other investment advisory and brokerage firms with a history of customer complaints and securities industry regulatory problems. Austin Dutton has had his own regulatory problems with the state of Pennsylvania. In 2017, he entered into a consent agreement and order relating to unsuitable investment recommendations to clients while he was employed at Newbridge Securities Corporation. The settlement with the regulator included a $200,000 fine payable in monthly installments until paid in full. Most recently, Austin Dutton was suspended indefinitely for failure to comply with an arbitration award or to satisfactorily respond to a FINRA request provide information concerning the status of compliance with that award. Finally, another FINRA investigation was recently initiated in connection with his activities that Newbridge Securities Corporation related to real estate security transactions.

Austin Dutton, Jr. Customer Complaints

Austin Dutton, Jr. has been the subject of 30 customer complaints that we know about seeking to recover investment losses.  One customer complaint was arbitrated before FINRA and resulted in an award against Austin Dutton that he still has not paid. Twenty-five other customer complaints were settled by Newbridge Securities Corporation in favor of the investors for Austin Dutton’s alleged misconduct.
