Mearu Takatsu Employment History

Mearu Takatsu has a long career in the securities industry, having worked for several major firms over the years. Most recently, Takatsu was registered with Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC from 2022 until 2024. Prior to that, he held positions at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated from 2016 to 2022, TD Ameritrade, Inc. from 2008 to 2016, and several other firms dating back to 1999.

Throughout his career, Takatsu passed two general industry/product exams, including the Series 7 General Securities Representative Examination, and two multi-state securities law exams.

His employment with Wells Fargo was terminated in May 2024 following a review of concerns related to the handling of a client signature on an account document. The termination did not involve any specific product issues or customer complaints. Takatsu is currently not registered with any firm.
